NIMO

Oli is a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Manchester where he completing a PhD investigating novel diagnostic neuroimaging techniques in Mild Cognitive Impairment under the supervision of Professor Laura Parkes, Dr Hamied Haroon and Dr Ross Dunne. He is also an elected member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Academic Faculty, where his main work centres on improving access to academic opportunities for psychiatrists at all stages of their career. Alongside his research, Oli is a Consultant Psychiatrist for Older People in the East Lancashire Memory Assessment Service where he also holds a number of additional roles related to clinical leadership and education.  When not at work, you’ll most likely find Oli cooking up a vegan storm in the kitchen or spending quality time with his family.

Oli is leading on the All-in-One study, a clinical feasibility trial aiming to assess the use of blood based biomarkers and advanced MRI for the prediction of decline in cognition for people with Mild Cognitive Impairment. This two year prospective cohort study is recruiting 100 participants across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cambridge.
